Rugby League - Australia v Great Britain

Sa Nov 13 – 18.00 BST (SS1)
4 tips this weekend all went down, Sale handicap, Leeds and Sarries match betting and Bath handicap. These guys are seriously useless, god help anyone that's ever swayed by their so called expertise. I have written to them a few times outlining their miserable record but of course I'm never going to get a response.

Anyway, I was also thinking about the weekend that it would be a bit of fun keeping a record of their tips during the season - maybe even opposing them all with a level stake and seeing what the result is.

To be fair to them, and so we can't be accused of hindsight, let's start on week 2. Being as I don't do the horses these days I don't buy the Racing Post anymore. Are their selections available online? Alternatively, could rugby nut or somebody else who gets the RP regularly post up their picks please?

My money was down on Sale -9 on Friday and then Leeds -3 on the Sat, though I did claw some back via the two live games which were good to trade.

Of all the weekend results, I thought the London Irish one was the most impressive. Sure, the Bristol win looked good on paper, but Bath threw the game away both from missed 3 pointers and also in open play where they really should have got more tries. For Irish to score 4 tries (they only got 28 the whole of last season), give Leeds a good pasting and record a bonus point "away" win in the process was quite a result. If Oliver Magne is back to his best this season, then it will be great for the Exiles and also for the Premiership in general.
