Austria v England

Only 4 runners IMO. Curbs. Psycho. Mourinhi and Fergie. Have Pierce (2nd not as strong squad lost SWP to Chels) slight fav over Mourinho (top with tough games though far from convincing and of course they are expected to be top). Curbs (similar to Pierce) Fergie (done nothing wrong but easier games than Mourinho).

lay correct scores in general, with 0-0 coming up more often than most; QPR and Watford were undoubtedly dire results for me, but I wouldn't have touched Barca with a bargepole, forunately.... Having checked my figures, I've layed 21 0-0s amongst other things, with payouts of 12.0 and 10.5, so I'm down 1 1/2 points on them after a bad sting; still too early in the season to say whether it works or not; probably need 100+ bets before it becomes statistically meaningful.

With that said, note that I lay correct scores, not necessarily 0-0, and that I only lay a score that I think has a  price. This happens to be 0-0 more often than any other score, but that sure doesn't mean that 0-0 laying is the be all and end all of it; there are some 0-0s that scream out to be backed; as with everything, you've got to look for "wrong" prices, whether too short (lay them) or too long (back them....) It just happens that 0-0, for me, comes up as "too short" more often than I'd expect

Pearce has done an extraordinary job but look who we have played - City will be vv short over the next few weeks - next game at OT - where we have not won in god knows how long - certainly 25 years plus - United will be an excellent price in the circs
