Milan look standouts at the first glance, however, I think
they find it difficult breaking up defensive teams and can
have their off days, Fenerbahce will play a defensive minded
4-5-1 leaving Anelka on his on up front Tuncay and Alex de
Souza supporting him in breaks, Milan may find it hard
against very physical Fenerbahce defence & midfield and get
frustrated. Fenerbahce is no slouch by the way beating Man U
last year and haveing a few good results themselves.
At 1.3 Milan in my humble opinion looks a reasonable lay in
their first game of the campaign.
Milan looked shaky at the back against Siena, especially
from set pieces. The old defence is starting to creak.

cant believe lazio paid 20m for mendieta and then sold him

what about luc nillis, he cost villa about 5m and played all
of 3 games for them. not a criticism of him, the poor fella
could have been a legend for villa, that was the most
disgusting break ive seen. he was apparently screaming for
more morphine in the hospital about 10 hrs later, cant
imagine that level of pain. villa fans will remember the
superb volley he powered in on his debut though. that was
some sort of return for the dosh. i remember him appearing
at villa park a yr or 2 ago, got a great redemption, nice
touch.
I wouldn't be brave enough to lay Milan at home either!!!
But any signs of a possible dodgy one, ie 0-0 or 1-1 I just
wont back em in my accum.
