The
Boro will be boosted this week with the news that
they have signed Spanish international Mendieta from
Lazio for the rest of the year. He could play today.
Middlesbrough have the makings of an excellent team.
Mendieta will partner Juninho in midfield, and I feel
that they could get something out of this game.
The
Gunners are always dangerous, but I feel that Everton
exposed their defence and they will be without Sol
Campbell. With a home crowd behind them, and a star
new player on show, Middlesbrough should sneak the
draw. DRAW @ 11/5
On the home front, John Gosden could Supply dangerS in
Plea Bargain and Playful Act.
Of the two the latter would be readily preferred and shouldn’t
be underestimated in the latter half of her campaign wherever
she goes.
I was going to go with the tried and trusted Chelsea to
win to nil bet, but its getting shorter every week.
Its now 4/7.
But I noticed a decent bet in the Chelsea game. Despite the claims that they're not entertaining, Chelsea
are very efficent. They are very patient and if it takes
until the 90th minute to score then so be it.
Villa will want to tighten up after conceding 7 goals in two
away games, including three at Wycombe. I don't expect Villa to be adventurous but I feel Chelsea
will gradually grind them down, but it could take a while.
2/1 is widely available both on here and with the bookies
that its still level at half time and I feel thats worth a
small interest.
Bet: 4 pts Chelsea v Aston Villa - Draw at H/T @ 2/1.
CL action tonight and the tried and trusted Chelsea bet in
tonight's big one. Though a slight change.
I usually do Chelsea to win to nil which is available @ 9/4
but I'm going to play safe as I'm sure Chelsea wouldn't be
too upset with a draw.
I can see Liverpool huffing and puffing but not able to
break Chelsea down. Chelsea may settle for a draw but could
just as easily sneal it.
I'm backing Chelsea to keep a clean sheet, though the same
odds are available for Liverpool to fail to score with a
different bookie.
Bet: 7 pts Chelsea to keep a clean sheet @ 5/4 P.P.
Bet: 1 pt Chelsea to win 1-0 @ 7.2 Betfair.
Anyway I feel Dynamo Bucharest are worth a small interest
tonight. If Wigan & Pompey can go to Goodison and get a
result then surely a team with European experience,
including CL won't be overawed.
Everton will have to have a go, and the way the Romanians
hit them on the break in the first game means they should
get chances.
Everton are low on confidence and goals. Dynamo have scored
20 goals in their last six games.
At the price they're worth a bet.
Bet: 3 pts Dynamo Bucharest to beat Everton @ 5.8
