Hernan Crespo made a stunning strike last week to get
Chelsea out of jail and secure all three points for them
against Wigan at the JJB Stadium.
Blackburn look like a nice bet at 10/11 to defeat
Fulham at home. Rovers were defeated 3-1 defeat at Upton Park,
in the most part due to inept defending. The return of Ryan
Nelsen from injury should tighten things up at the back.
Fulham are misfiring up front and Blackburn have a home
debut for Craig Bellamy, who sat out Wales midweek
international game, and I'm sure he will be the difference
today.
The Blues are currently evens against Arsenal and this
looks a pretty good bet. Even though Chelsea are not firing
on all cylinders, they are a remarkable team, and Arsenal
have not exactly inspired me with confidence. Just this week
there were rumours of Sol Campbell wanting out, and I don't
think things are going too well in the Highbury camp. And
they only just squeezed past a 10 man Newcastle team who had
key midfielder Jenas sent from the pitch.
This is Chelsea's first home game of the season, and they
will want to put their lacklustre performance against Wigan
behind them. Evens looks a little too long and I don't think
that price will last, so get on now!
The loss of Andy Cole is a big one for the Cottagers, and
they haven't really found anyone to replace him. Fulham
played out a uninspiring 0-0 home draw against Birmingham in
their opening game, and I would expect them to struggle at
Ewood Park today. A tight home win for Mark Hughes side, 1-0
for me.
