Darts: 2005 World Championship

Funnily enough (for such a tough customer on track) he actually is a total gentleman. I was lucky enough to meet the great man once and he was, as I said, a total gentleman. He made a mistake in Adelaide, a young man with his life-long dream in front of him, and he made a mistake. Big f'ing deal. He has made up for it multiple times over with his endless charity work not to mind his generosity for the tsunami victims. If he was South American everyone would be licking him, but he's not he's German - sin of sins. Get over it; when he's gone he will be missed.

I really dont see why everyone has a problem with schumi the man is a living legend. Maybe he has done somethings wrong in his career but hey who hasent.
this season for him hasent been great but if u look at it he was only out of title race after monza in pretty much a car i think this reflects favourably on the great man. wouldn't be surprised at all next season 2 c schumi romp away with it next season.
people who say schumi is lucky look at alonso then he gotta be luckiest guy ever.

I honestly believe Button is the most overrated driver in the history of F1. He'll never win a Championship unless he got the sort of banker drive like Mansell got in 1992?

He's been murdered by every team mate he had bar Villeneuve who was on the way down (since been shown even more) and Sato who's just not an F1 driver. He'd never be near the car unless he was Japanese. Button was third last season although he was very consistent and solid is it possible that he actually had a much stronger car than people believed? I think that last year's BAR was quicker than it's poor driver line up showed it to be.

Even this year it seems strange that he's not done more with a car that was good enough for Podiums last year and has an even more powerful engine this. If he stays next year which he probably will i think he'll be very even with Barrichello. (Not saying that Barrichello s a bad driver but he's shown that he's not quite top class at Ferrari.)

At this point maybe people will realise that Button is average at best. Fisichella murdered him and Trulli was consistently quicker than him but lost a few points due to reliability.

Button is all PR and media hype. he's not that good, not bad, but nothing great. In that time he hasn't come up against the real best, but Fisihcella, Ralf Shcumahcer and Jarno Trulli are no mugs either. He outscored Trulli in 2002, and while I take your point about the reliability problems had that year, Button also had a few failures as well, and would harldy have been thrashed. Fisichella outscored him too in 2001, but neither did great - it was 8-2 in favour of Fisih, while against Ralf it was Buttons first season so we couldn't really expect him to do that well.
