Quevega will be looking to secure the hat-trick for trainer Willie Mullins and she will go off as a hot favourite for the David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle. The last two years she has careered away from her rivals in the final stages to win by an accumulative distance of 19 lengths.
The seven-year-old is widely available at 5/4 but Mullins has hinted that she will not have a prep run before going to the Festival, so it is hard to gauge her fitness. However, the Irish champion trainer will have her tuned up for the race and it is hard to see what can live with her on the day as she didn't have a run before the race last year.
Colm Murphy's Voler La Vedette is next best at 7/1 with Sporting Bet and she ran in Quevega's wake last year when finishing third. She has run adequately in some races behind the Champion Hurdle prospect Hurricane Fly but it is hard to see her reversing the form from last year and could only be an each way prospect.
