Football: English Premiership

The ante post prices are already out for the forthcoming football season, and hardended betting fans have already been studying the betting market for some value. Despite disappointing  last season in the EPL, punters are hoping that hteir Champions League success will carry them onto a winning season this time around. They  have been the best backed team for the Premiership (20/1 from 25/1).

Surprisingly, there is little interest in the other main contenders Arsenal and Man United. This may be due to the fact that there has been very little movement in the way of transfers to these two giants.

Taking a step down to the Championship, all the money has been for Norwich at the early 8/1, and they have now been backed into 6/1. The Canaries will managed to fight  off the Premiership vultures looking for bargains, and have kept  the nucleus of their Premiership squad, including Dean Ashton, and due to this they have a great chance of being promoted straight back first time of asking.  In League One, Donacaster Rovers have been the interest, as they have been backed into only 16/1 from a nice looking 25/1.

The main reason for this is the impressive signing of Paul Heffernan, and boss Dave Penney will be hoping that  his goals will be able to shoot them up to the Championship. Down to League Two there has been some big money Chester, who have now been backed into around 33/1, from a big 66/1.

Taking a quick glance at the Premiership's new fixture list, and Chelsea are a nice 4/11 to beat newly promoted Wigan at the JJB Stadium. Arsenal are 4/9 to win at home to Newcastle, Man City look another nice bet  to put in an accumulator , and sling Man City in as well at 4/9, this looks appealing.
