Betting Preview : Croatia v France
Rasharrow will have a sequence up North, but being
unleashed ? Len Lungo hasn't really cracked Cheltenham
has he. Would love to see this one improve his record at
the meeting.
The sun may be shining, but I await the msity November
mornings, and the drive to HQ to get the pulse racing...
the real stuff is just around the corner.
Verbal what's so impressive about being beaten by Al
Eile at aintree (Brave Inca would surely have beaten
them both if he'd stood up) Imo Iris's Gift would murder
him in the stayers if he reverts to hurdles.
All the suggestions from Robert Lester were that Iris
Gift was a natural over fences - I think it would be a
pretty big U-turn to revert to hurdles this season and
I'm confident we will see an exciting chaser in the
coming months. I think he would only go back for the
Stayers' if he failed as a chaser.
Someone suggested racing demon for the stayers. Anyone
know Hens plan for this one. Presume he'll end up over
fences at some stage (similar profile to best mate) but
not sure whether it will be this season.
Of the other horses mentioned also think War of
Attrition is overrated. De Soto could be anything (cliche),
Rasharrow will be prob trained with aintree in mind.
Cloone rivers performance at the curragh on derby day
was listed class. He jumps like a stag too so is
certainly one to consider for the qm. Hoping nolan sends
him over to the November meeting for the paddy power
this year. He did a similar thing with Accordian last
year to confirm he was festival class. Forget the Past
is a horse the Michael o Brien yard think a lot of and
he was very impressive at Punchestown. Prob not Gold Cup
class. Great thread lads. Can we please keep it going.
lungo hasnt done anything at cheltenham cap but
rasharrow did go close in the bumper and looks very
classy ris's gift is always going to be underpriced and should
go novice chasing this season if anything, to put him in
at the deep end against kicking king et al would be
ridiculous. ill be surprised if he comes back the same
horse as he was in 03/04
percussionist will be an interesting recruit for howard
over the sticks, beaten about 2 lengths in the derby he
is surely one of the best flat horses to go jumping in a
while
also looking forward to seeing wild passion,
penzance, faasel and an o'grady horse called
