Betting Preview : Portugal v Russia
High flying Grays are unbeaten in 8 this season. They
battered Gravesend 6-1 and even more impressive won at
title favourites Hereford.
Though Cambridge were impressive in their win over
Hereford in front of the Sky camera's they have won just
one game since.
That was gainst Accrington and sinve then they have lost
four on the spin, drawing with Gravesend.
In those five games they didn't register a single goal,
conceding nine in the process.
Bet: 7 pts Grays @ 4/7 Billy's or Lads
A mixed day yesterday, Grays & Birmingham winning.
Southampton beaten by underdogs, Mansfield.
Bank: 163.9 but with the Man City bet outstanding.
I'm not one of those who come on here shouting from the
rooftops about "Certainties" or "Sure fire things" but
in my opnion Man City are terrific value even @ 1/2.
Anyway, a full fixture list from across Europe tonight.
In Spain I fancy Villarreal to kick start their season
even though Celta Vigo have started very weell,
including a win in the Bernabeau (even though the
winning goal shouldn't have stood).
It looks like Riquelme will be back tonight. Their home
form was superb last season and in Forlan they have last
season's (joint) top scorer.
Bet: 5 pts - Villarreal @ 8/11 Tote
I was going to go with the tried and trusted Chelsea
to win to nil bet, but its getting shorter every week.
Its now 4/7.
But I noticed a decent bet in the Chelsea game.
Despite the claims that they're not entertaining,
Chelsea are very efficent. They are very patient and if
it takes until the 90th minute to score then so be it.
Villa will want to tighten up after conceding 7 goals in
two away games, including three at Wycombe.
I don't expect Villa to be adventurous but I feel
Chelsea will gradually grind them down, but it could
take a while.
2/1 is widely available both on here and with the
bookies that its still level at half time and I feel
thats worth a small interest.
Bet: 4 pts Chelsea v Aston Villa - Draw at H/T @ 2/1.
