FA Cup Semi Finals

Following on from my (semi) successful go at picking some winners last season I am going to have another stab at it.

I am going to start with a bank of 100 points.
I will bet at prices currently available on here or at with a reputable bookmaker.
I will try to steer clear of long odds on shots though no doubt there will be the occaional one.
I will mainly using this thread to post my football selections but may throw in the occasional bet on other sports I punt on.
I said "one a day" but it would be stupid to bet every day for the sake of it so will probably have around five selections per week, though once the season is in full swing this may change.
There will be no aftertiming and if I decide a bet should be layed off In Running I will say so.

I do not expect you to bet on my selections but your comments (like last season) are more than welcome.

Happy punting.

Bank: 100 points

Todays bet:

Liverpool -1.5 on the Asian H.cap @ 1.86 with Betfair.
Liverpool -1 is avaialble @ 4/5 with B Direct.

Though they have relied heavily on Stevie Gerrard in the games against TNS they still created plenty of chances.
They have also scored 7 goals against decent opposition over in Switzerland and Liectenstein.

Kaunas despite dominating Lithuanian football recently are having a poor season by their high standards and i believe they are 15 points adrift of top spot at the halfway stage of the season.
There recent form is nothing to write home about and though they banged 8 goals past Torshavn in the last round of the CL, the Faroe Islanders managed two goals of their own in the first leg.

Many people have scoffed at the signing of Peter Crouch but this should be ideal time to blood him. I'm sure he will cause the Kaunas defence all sorts of problems and with other players keen to secure their place in Rafa's starting XI I believe Liverpool will put their opponents to the sword tonight.

Bet: Liverpool -1.5 - 6 points @ 1.86 Betfair.

New Bank: 94 points.
