Even though we do look for value in each of our betting
previews, we cannot look past the fact that at 8/1 David
Toms is an extremely attractive bet! He always plays well
here, winning in the previous two years, and claiming a
fourth spot three years ago.
When he won the tournament last year, he was in awful form, missing the last five of seven cuts, but he seems to be inspired here. This time around, he is in much better form, when he claimed second last week. He is definitely worth a wager at odds of even 8/1. Some players like courses and the St Jude course is one of those! Another old stager that can make an impression is veteran Nick Price, who also likes this course and seems back to form, claiming sixth place in the Byron Nelson. For those looking for big odds, Ben Crane makes an impressiion at a huge 125/1. He's coming off his first top-20 of the season at Colonial, and looks to be returning to form of old - form which won him the Bell South Classic a couple of years back.
