Fulham come
into this game on the back of a mini-crisis, losing to second
division Wigan 2-1 midweek, and have only won once in their
last 8 matches. Leeds, a club in crisis, having only won
once in their last 10 matches, and with Chairman Peter Risdale
accusing the players of not trying and dressing room bustups
between Kewell and Viduka.
Fulham,
despite a good start, are finding themselves under pressure.
They have won 4, drawn 2 and lost 2 at home this season,
but have only won once in their last 4 games at home. Boss
Jean tigana is now under pressure. Leeds of course are in
a disastrous run, but their form is a little misleading.
At home, they are terrible, losing 5 in a row, but they
play much bettter away from the cauldron of Elland Road.
In fact, they have only lost twice in their last 6 away
games, and have an excellent scoring record. They have scored
12 goals away from home, and amazaingly this is only bettered
by Arsenal. It is only a matter of time before Leeds get
things together, and with leader Radebe returning from South
Africa, they have a player who can get a team playing for
each other. With players such as Harry Kewell, Lee Bowyer
and Mark Viduka, Leeds should have too much quality for
a lot of sides. Being away from Elland Road takes a lot
of pressure off the players and I think thay may even relish
the chance to take advantage of a Fulham side sliding down
the table. Thay will also be anxious to get away from the
relegation zone, and the odds of
2/1 look excellent value. Take Leeds to win.
-they'll probably lose their next home game, but away they
are a different package altogether. Medium stake.
