Roma to beat Udinese.
Udinese are by no means a bad side, and they opened their campaign with a 1-0 win over Empoli following their home & away wins over Sporting that qualified them for their first ever CL.
And this is the reason I am backing Roma, especially after their comprehensive win at Reggina last week.
I feel Udinese will have one eye on their historic game with Panathinaikos midweek and Roma should have enough about them in The Olympico.

Bet: 3 pts Roma to beat Udinese @ 10/11 with Bl Sq.

Another bet in Italy, though they're not usually reliable punting material is Fiorentina.
This is minimal stakes as Scicily is not the easiest place to visit as Inter found out last night.
Messina lost just two games last season at home, but in Bojinov & midweek hat trick hero, Toni I feel the Viola will always get goals, and are worth a small interest at odds against.

Bet: 1 pt Fiorentina to beat Messina @ 9/5 with P.P

A good win by Juve last night. Shame I got the Unders/Overs bets the wrong way round.

One bet tonight, and in my opinion a cracker.

This team Bolton are playing, Plovdiv are by all accounts poor.
They've lost three of their last four away games domestically, and we all know the Bulgarian league isn't the best. They scraped through the last round on away goals.
Their captain is missing tonight and apparently the club is disarray following the murder of the club president.

Bolton have conceded just one goal at home this season, at that was against another "Dogs of War" side in Everton.

I can't see anything but a Bolton win tonight in their first Euro game, but @ 1/3 they're plenty short enough.

However Paddy's in Ireland are going 10/11 for them to win to nil and that looks like a cracking bet.

Bet: 10 pts - Bolton to win to nil @ 10/11
