It was the first defeat of Rock on Ruby's career over fences and Nicholls is bound to get some improvement out of the six-year-old and it should be an interesting rematch if they meet in this contest

Backspin was a disappointing fourth in that contest after starting a short-priced 11/8 favourite and that has now pushed him out to 14/1. However, if he can repeat the form that saw him demolish a good field in the Challow at Newbury then the 14/1 could be a gargantuan price.
