The first grade one event on day two has unearthed some fantastic horses in recent years with both Mikael D'Haguenet and Champion Hurdle hopeful Peddlers Cross being victorious the last two years.
Bobs Worth is this season's market leader at 11/2 with Sporting Bet after impressing in the Neptune Investment trial at Cheltenham in January. A two-and-a-quarter length winner over Rock On Ruby (8/1 various) that day Nicky Henderson's six-year-old showed why he should be favourite for this race. He travelled well throughout the race and showed a lovely turn of foot to put the race to bed and leave Paul Nicholls' Rock on Ruby in his wake.
It was the first defeat of Rock on Ruby's career over fences and Nicholls is bound to get some improvement out of the six-year-old and it should be an interesting rematch if they meet in this contest
