Hi lads, figured we best have a stab at the matches this
week. On first impression there was nae much i fancied, on
second impression there was none. Not mad keen on midweek
games, especially in the lower leagues. When you add in the
wet and windy weather and the pitches will be nicely churned
up. If anyone knows of any call offs then can they stick
them on here please.
Right, to the guesses for this midweek, not much on any game
as i'm knackered to be honest;
5pts Dunfermline Vs Hibs
Opposing Dunfermline is easy really, they've got nothing
going for them and a dismal 5pts from 11 games gives no
reason to suppose they will improve in the near term. Hibs
had a good win if nothing spectacular at the weekend over
the dons. I had Hibs at 1.8 for the game so the offer of
evens is a good price in my mind.

3pts East Stirling Vs Berwick Rangers
Good team versus a poor team. The wee rangers must be baked
at 1.4 to win this, they'd have been a nap if hibs price had
been less than evens. Do i really need to write anymore??

3pts Queens Park Vs Cowdenbeath
The blue brazil are the form team at present, scoring goals
and winning games in style. QP are no slouches but i'm
tempted by the 2.25 on offer for the away side, its a back
purely on form lines and i hope the Beath don't slip up with
a full squad to pick from.

Quite tough this one, midweek games can provide the room for
a shock or two, especially for those teams playing on
tuesday night following a tough game on saturday (with a
limited squad). Killie may find a way to get a draw against
hearts, Dumbarton may trouble Alloa following their goal
blitz at Ayr. But for some reason i think Raith might just
trip up Gretna this week, they were unlucky to lose to
Morton at the weekend and despite the results there has been
a lack of spark to the Gretna game this past while.

Best of luck to all who play this midweek, it sure does not
look easy. For those wondering my thoughts on my team i'm in
a quandary. I first saw the 11/4 on Utd to win on sunday, it
made me think that it was worth a go, but now for some
reason i'm unsure. I'd say a draw is the most likely result
in an uninspiring 1-1.
Started doing analysis on the first few months of the
buttmonkey picks, i'll stick up the results tomorrow. I like
looking where and what i bet on and the outcomes of those
games, and the possible trends i follow. All comments would
be good, and if you can do the same for yours we can see our
relative strengths and weaknesses
