NFL Championship Games as New England favourites with Betfred Free bets offer

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs insists there is no bad blood between him and New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady going into their AFC Conference Playoff this weekend as Betfred announce a Betfred free bets offer for all new customers to spend on the NFL Championship games.

With just one game standing between the Ravens, the Patriots and the Super Bowl, there has been plenty of build up to the hotly anticipated encounter, much of which has focused around a controversial moment dating back to 2009.

Suggs was left furious after he saw his relatively soft tackle on Brady punished at the behest of the illustrious quarterback which in turn led to a fierce argument between the two and a deluge of criticism for both parties afterwards.

However the linebacker insists he isn’t carrying any animosity going into the game, saying it is all water under the bridge.

“I guess the genesis of that was the incident in ’09, when I almost hit him below the waist,” Suggs said.

“That’s when it all started, but you grow and mature. As you all can clearly see, I’m not the same guy that I was in ’09. I’m definitely 20 pounds lighter. We had a lot going on, that defense. I’m pretty much over it.”

Suggs may insist he has moved on but he may not get the chance to put the incident properly to bed on the field after it emerged that Brady was forced to sit out of practise on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old is still suffering the effects of a shoulder injury, and although he is unlikely to miss the game, the Patriots are said to be monitoring the situation closely.

Sebastian Vollmer is still suffering with a back injury and looks set to miss the game while Aaron Hernandez was limited in practice as he continues to recover from concussion. 18 players in total were listed on the Patriots injury report.
