Stakes was given a massive boost when the winner captured
the Irish Champion Stakes recently, and he is a fresher horse
than most of his rivals. That run proved he can handle a fast
surface, while he is unlikely to be inconvenienced by any
rain as most of his winning has been done on an easy surface.
Aidan O'Brien's Ace is unbeaten after three wins in modest
company, and could be the joker in the pack.
