Time for Rupert is likely to go off a short-priced favourite for the RSA Chase after putting in some domineering displays around Prestbury Park this year. After finishing second behind Big Buck's in the World Hurdle last year Paul Webber sent this seven-year-old chasing and he looks the one to beat over three miles.
He is currently trading at 5/2 in most places and with comfortable wins over Chiacgo Grey and Hell's Bay by eight lengths it is hard to see any challengers to him on current form.
A couple of Irish contenders are next in the market with Jessies Dream (12/1 various) and Mikael D'Haguenet (14/1 various). Jessies Dream was handed a race by Mikael D'Haguenet when the Willie Mullins-trained gelding fell at the last but he looks to be way off the favourite in terms of class.
