FOOTBALL
Southampton v Liverpool
Sa Jan 22 – 12.45 BST (Sky Prem Plus)

Tonights bet is in the TV game, Depor v Newcastle.

Newcastle have all sorts of injury problems both in midfield and in attack.
I can see them them being more than grateful to come away from Northern Spain with a draw or a narrow defeat.

Depor are far from the side that often challenged at the top of La Liga (and winning it) and beat Milan in a famous comeback just over a year ago in the CL.
But they are decent, especially at home.
I think the change of management is ideal. Irueta (sp?) was there a long time and they probably need someone to come in with different idea's.
They still have the nucleus of a good squad and Tristan is quality. This is a new era for the Galician club and I expect them to see off the Geordies tonight.

Bet: 4 points Deportivo to beat Newcastle @ 1.92 on Betfair.

Many bookies have cut the odds today on the Spanish side and they are generally a 5/6 chance.

A couple of bets on tonight's CL.

Though Liverpool have eased their way through their previous three games, they do tend to take the foot off the gas.
Against TNS in the second leg they didn't score the last two goals until the dying moments.
Despite the early scare last week they were always in command but with them working towards full fitness not to mention the substitutions that will likely to be made in the second half I can see this game peetering out towards the end.

One firm are offering Kaunas with a +3 start which has to be worth a small interest.
I will also be having a saver on 3-0 as Liverpool have scored three in each of their CL games so far.

Tonights bets:

Kaunas +3. 4pts @ Evens with Sky bet
Liverpool 3-0. 1pt @ 6/1 with the same firm.

Plenty to get stuck into this weekend, albeit at small stakes.

Reading have just signed Lita who was prolific in League One last season to compliment Kitson.
I'm sure these two won't be short of goals throughout the season and they look a good bet to see off an average Plymouth side.

4 Pts Reading to bt Plymouth @ 4/5 with Tote & **. (Available @ 1.84 on Betfair)

MK Dons have a tremendous home record since the astute Danny Wilson took over. It pains me to say it but I think the Francise will do OK this season and could be worth an interest on the Handicap (26 points available)
Bournemouth are regressing. Their end of season form, especially at home let them down and they've lost two of their better players.
At odds against MK Dons have to be worth an interest.

2 Pts MK Dons to bt Bournemouth @ 6/4 with B.D.
