Greenacre is getting better with every game, though our
style of play doesn't suggest he'll be top scorer.
Could be a 20 goal season for him though, something thats
been missing at ** for far too long.
Though we've lost Hume, we've signed Delroy Facey, another
type of player we've missed for several seasons.
Big & strong, I'm sure he can be the perfect foil for
Chrissy.
Greenacre is actually being compared to our greatest ever
player, Ian Muir & is already a fans favourite.
Not as good, but there are similarities. He's got a good
footballing brain and can score all different type of goals.
Definately not the same player who was played out of
position at Stoke, more like the goalgetter you signed from
Mansfield.
Best signing we've made in 3-4 years. Thanks.Anyway live
football on TV tonight and a bet.
Everton are poor, they've been poor for ages, even going
back to last season.
I simply can't see them getting anything tonight at a place
they rarely do well at - Highbury.
A bet thats served me well recently is Paddy's "win to nil"
They're offering 10/11 for the Arsenal tonight and thats
surely more value than lumping on @ 1/3.
Bet: 8 pts Arsenal to win to nil @ 10/11
However they are missing the talismanic Henry and Everton
are hurting after their UEFA Cup humiliation.
With all but one of Arsenal's goals this season coming in
the 2nd half and Everton's determination not to take another
severe beating I expect the opening exchanges to be tight.
It wouldn't surprise me if they went in at HT goalless.
UNDERS has to be the bet with a view to trading around 40-50
minutes.
Bet: 6 pts -UNDER 2.5 goals @ 2.02 Betfair.
First bet is played tomorrow but seeing as one firm are
going 4/11, I think its best to get on the 1/2 still
available.
Man City won three games on the bouce before their credible
draw at Old Trafford. That was followed by an unbelievble
defeat to Bolton. Even the most ardent Bolton fans would
admit they didn't deserve their victory.
This is a game that would have been a potential banana skin
for past City sides, but under Stuart Pearce they are far
more relisient.
I liked his quote following the weekend defeat about someone
will pay for it, and that looks like its going to be Donny
Rovers.
Saturday's win was Donny's first win in five, following four
straight defeats. As good as that win was, they simply won't
be able to live with a Man City side who will want to bounce
back from their defeat, and they're a side who will
genuinely believe they have a chance of silverware and a
possible European spot.
Forte is suspended and Thornton is a long term injury for
the hosts.
I'm supremely confident about this bet, something I have
rarely said about punting on Man City.
Bet: 10 pts Man City @ 1/2 Billy's, Lads, Bl Sq & S.J.
