Final after two very interesting playoff matches at the weekend.
Bradford are now 8/11 with us to win the Grand Final after
beating Leeds at Headingley on Saturday evening. The Bulls
won 26-12 to demolish Leeds' 100% home record and leave the
Rhinos facing a Final Eliminator against Wigan on Friday.
The Rhinos were hoping that this step would not be required
but lost at Headingley for the first time this year to a Bradford
side brimming with confidence. Last Friday night Wakefield
came extremely close to upsetting Wigan at the JJB Stadium.
The Wildcats had a try controversially disallowed which gave
the Warriors time to advance down field where scrum half Adrian
Lam darted over for the decisive try to take the game by 18-14.
Leeds, the regular season winners, are out to 6/4 while Wigan
are the 7/1 outsiders. Leeds and Wigan last clashed at the
start of September with the pair playing out a 12-12 thriller
at the JJB Stadium, while the Warriors eliminated the Rhinos
from the competition at the same stage on the same ground
last term. The Rhinos will be without influential half-back
Andrew Dunemann through injury for Friday's win-or-bust eliminator.
Prediction: Wigan (+6.0) @ Evens.
