The Richard Hannon horse, Gamble In Gold is the horse to
beat today and looks to be good value in the 3.25 Weatherbys
Super Sprint at Newbury on Saturday.
Looking back at this race, there are some interesting
pointers to give us some help with a betting analysis. Nine
of the last twelve winners of the Super Sprint have been
fillies, receiving a weight allowance, while the
Richard Hannon stable has carried off the first prize five
times in total.
Even though the horse was a little subdued in her last
race at Sandown, this was due to a bad draw, and this has
resulted in a biggish price for he in this race and
this should be snapped up. The horse will come into this
race fresh, and if she can recover the form of her first two
outings she take all the beating here today.
Looking elsewhere down the field the unbeaten Titus Oates
looks worth a small wager. The horse claimed a hat-trick in
his last race in the Windsor Castle Stakes, and could do
well here. All but four of the previous winners of
this race had won at the Royal meeting so his chance has to
be respected.
