Wimbledon is around the corner and there are plenty of players who can win the title this year. Andy Roddick completed his Wimbledon preparations with a successful defence of his Stella Artois Championship title last week. In a repeat of last year's final, he defeated Sebastien Grosjean in straight sets, winning 7-6, 6-4 in 83 minutes.

Earlier in the week, he had set a new service speed record of 153 mph on grass, and will be a formidable opponent next week. This was Grosjean's first tournament on grass this year, and he can be expected to improve on this showing at Wimbledon.

Unsurprisingly, star performer Andre Agassi has withdrawn due to injury - he was knocked out in the first round at the Stella Artois Tournament last week.

World No.1 and defending champion Roger Federer extended his amazing winning streak on grass to 17 matches by beating Mardy Fish 6-0, 6-3 in the Halle Open final.

The 22 year-old looked in top form ahead of the defence of his Wimbledon title, for which he is a 5/4 favourite.
