City have had a solid, but unspectacular start to the campaign as they won just twice and drawn three matches. Of course they started of flying last year, but Roberto Mancini will be pleased that his men are not losing games despite not being at their best.
The Citizens (best price 10/3 with Bet365) will now be looking at Saturday afternoon’s encounter as one they need to be winning, even at this early stage. They do not want to be chasing the teams at the top of the table for the majority of the season.
Man City (best price 5/6 with Paddy Power) will be looking for his star men to step up to the mark and perform in this one, especially Sergio Aguero, who is now back to full fitness and will be desperate to open his account for the campaign.

Of course, once again they still look to be a very strong outfit this year and three points at Craven Cottage would be a welcome return, as things have not exactly gone to plan for the men at the Etihad.
One of the major concerns is their leaky defence, something which Mancini has been tinkering with and it seems the Italian has yet to find his starting four at the back.
The side has conceded 16 goals in only 8 games in total this season, letting in a goal in every Premiership fixture so far this term, which is a definite worry for the Premiership Champions.
As for Fulham, it has been a cracking start to their season. Despite having different ambitions for the year to their opponents, they do sit on nine points, level with City.
Craven Cottage has been a fortress so far with two games played, two won, eight goals scored and none conceded. It does not seem to be a place that Premier League clubs like heading to and new signings Dimitar Berbatov and Hugo Rodallega will cause plenty of Premiership sides problems this season.
Dimitar Berbatov in particular looks to be the real bit of quality that Martin Jol was craving going forward and the former Manchester United man would love to be on the score-sheet on Saturday.
The Bulgarian bagged a brace in his home debut against West Brom and it would be no surprise to see him once again on the scoresheet.
He can be backed at a best priced 7/1 to score first with Betvictor.
After their start to the campaign, Fulham will feel as though they are playing Manchester City at the perfect time.
Kick-off for this enthralling encounter is 3PM.
