Two teams that would have started the season with very different ambitions, but are only separated by just one point at the moment meet at the Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon as West Bromwich Albion host champions Manchester City.
The Baggies have been one of the surprise packages in the top flight so far this campaign and currently sit in sixth place, which is a perfect start for manager Steve Clarke.
This is certainly one of the toughest games that West Brom will play this season, but with the form they are in at the moment and the confidence so high in the camp, they will have high hopes of coming out on top.
Only one defeat in seven in the Premiership so far has seen the Clarke’s side rise to the heady heights of sixth in the table, and their blend of attacking football is certainly gaining plaudits for pundits and fans alike.

Wins over Liverpool and Everton at the Hawthorns has seen punters frothing at the mouth at the odds of 4/1 on the home win, a best price with Bet365, and with Manchester City conceding in each of their three away trips so far this term, we could be set for goals.
Irishman Shane Long has been in scintilating form in recent weeks and his odds of 9/1 to score first with Bet365 look to big to dismiss.
The Midlands team did manage a goalless draw when these two sides met last campaign at the Hawthorns, so they do know what it takes to get a result against the Citizens.
Manchester City have been solid in the defence of their Premier League title and put in one of their best performances in the 3-0 win over Sunderland last time out.
In truth, Roberto Mancini’s men should have had five or six goals that day, but the Italian boss will have been delighted that they managed to come away with the points.
City are one of only two teams to still be unbeaten in the league so far, and they will be looking for that to continue this time out.
It will be all three points that Mancini is coming for in this encounter though, to keep piling the pressure on top of the table Chelsea. If they slip up, then City must capitalise.
With both teams liking to play an attacking brand of football, this should be a game of the highest quality and the away side must be at their very best to take anything from the Hawthorns, especially as West Brom have a 100% record on home soil.
Kick-off is 3PM on Saturday.
